Abstract

The recommendations “not to do” include unnecessary interventions with the current evidences, not much sure, with high cost - efficiency or that spend a lot of time of the sanitary professional that can dedicate to another activity. A decade ago, the National Alliance of The United States started the project "Choosing Wisely". Scientific companies of Familiar and Community Medicine, of Internal Medicine and of Pediatrics elaborated a list with five recommendations which aim was to promote a major efficiency of the health resources related to requests of diagnostic tests and treatments. Since then, many scientific associations have joined the project. In addition, the Institute NICE elaborates and updates the list " Do not do". The Ministry of Health, Social Politics and Equality develops this national project, with the presence of 49 scientific companies.
