Una aproximación a las cerámicas recuperadas en la excavación arqueológica del restaurante de "El Polinario"

Abstract

We carried out a detailed analysis of the ceramic materials found at the Alhambra during the archaeological excavation took place at the building of the restaurant “El Polinario” in 2007. We have tried to investigate the transition in time of the Alhambra and the city of Granada, in a period of change between the Nazari society and the Castilian one. The main objective is to apply a comprehensive statistical and morphometric analysis of the whole set of pottery, allowing us to extract information about the Granadian pottery from the last moments of the Nazarid kingdom up to the 18th century.
