| dc.description.abstract | The present work addresses the study of Asturian society in the 16th and 17th centuries, taking imported pottery productions as thepoint of connexion with the past. The material subject of the study comes from the archaeological excavations in the Carbajal Solis house(Oviedo, Asturias). These pieces form a wealthy repertoire of Iberian and European pottery. Together with the pottery, other cultural and socialinfluences would arrive and these are determinant for an understanding of the beginning of Asturian modernity. | eng |

El material objeto de estudio procede de las excavaciones arqueológicas llevadas a cabo en lacasa Carbajal Solís (Oviedo, Asturias). Estas piezas forman un rico repertorio de lozas ibéricas y europeas. Junto con la cerámica llegarán otras influencias culturales y sociales determinantes para entender los inicios de la modernidad asturiana. | eng |
