| Resumen : | The Regional Agrifood Research and Development Service (SERIDA) has the aim of “contributing towards the modernisation and improvement of the regional agrifood sector’s abilities by promoting and carrying out research and agrifood technological development. Its objective is to achieve improved productivity, diversification in the sector and increase the income of primary assets" (Incorporation Act 5/1999 of 29 March). To achieve this, it is carrying out the design and implementation of research and technological development projects that update and produce useful scientific and technological knowledge. When this is applied through a suitable technology transfer, a correct technological innovation can be promoted and consolidated in the Asturian agrifood and forestry sector. All this is carried out within a context of sustainable development that makes it possible for the resulting resources and technology to be used in the future. |
| Descripción : | El Servicio Regional de Investigación y Desarrollo Agroalimentario (SERIDA) tiene como finalidad "contribuir a la modernización y mejora de las capacidades del sector agroalimentario regional mediante el impulso y ejecución de la investigación y el desarrollo tecnológico agroalimentario, a fin de conseguir una mejora de la productividad, la diversificación en el sector y la elevación de las rentas de los activos primarios" (Ley de creación 5/1999, de 29 de marzo). Para ello, lleva a cabo el diseño y ejecución de proyectos de investigación y desarrollo tecnológico que permitan actualizar y generar conocimientos científicos y tecnológicos útiles para que, a través de una adecuada transferencia de tecnología, se impulse y consolide una correcta innovación tecnológica en el sector agroalimentario y forestal del Principado de Asturias. Todo ello, en un marco de desarrollo sostenible que posibilite la utilización futura de los recursos y las tecnologías desarrolladas. |
