Presentación y difusión del Protocolo sanitario para mejorar la atención a las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género

Abstract

This presentation is to be used as material to train health staff who are responsible for providing healthcare to women who are victims of domestic violence. It provides the following information: definitions of violence, legislation, epidemiological description, actions from the health system, VIMPA (Principality of Asturias Violence against Women) registry and how to register this care in the clinical history of the woman and in the IT programme used in the health centres of the Principality of Asturias.
