| dc.description.abstract | This article examines the media coverage that revolved around the murder of the actress Conchita Robles by her ex-husband in 1922. The newspapers of the time narrated the mistreatment that the victim had suffered for years, but also the efforts of the artist to escape this situation and the obstacles that she had to face. Moreover, in the context of the trials we can also see how the murder was justified and how the artist’s moral and sexual behaviour was questioned as an explanation for the crime. | eng |
| dc.description.tableofcontents | Este artículo examina la crónica periodística que se generó alrededor del asesinato de la actriz Conchita Robles a manos de su ex marido en 1922. En las páginas de los periódicos de la época se narran los malos tratos a los que fue sometida la víctima, pero también sus esfuerzos por salir de esa situación y los obstáculos con los que se encontró. Además, en el contexto de los juicios al homicida también podemos apreciar las justificaciones que se dieron al asesinato, así como el cuestionamiento del comportamiento moral y sexual de la artista como legitimación del crimen. | eng |
