Salud Sexual y Reproductiva de la mujer en Situaciones de Catástrofe

Abstract

Object: To know the answers that are given related to sexual and reproductive health in the protocols of action in emergency situations and to verify if the needs of women in the context of disasters are covered. Methodology: A review has been performed under the PRISMA model. Searching in electronic databases and in International Organizations. In addition, they have been completed with free searches of uncontrolled language. Conclusions: There are problems in recording the needs of women in this context, putting contraception, abortion, pregnancies and the psychological health of women at risk. These scenarios accentuate gender inequities and increase physical, psychological and sexual violence against women. International organizations do not pay the attention they deserve to the sexual violence suffered by women in such scenarios.
