Resumen: Bullying is the most common school violence and has been recognized increasingly as one major social issue. It is a common problem in schools with independence of the quality and characteristics of the institutions; whether they are public, private, religious or secular. Objective: Development of a health program that prevents and detects situations of bullying in schools and inform about the main consequences for health in students ages 8-12. Methodology: Information search was conducted taking into account the following databases: SCIELO, PUBMED, EPISTEMONIKOS. Keywords according to DeCS were used with restriction of field, time limit between 2012 and 2017, in English and Spanish. We included results of searches from other sources (for definition of concepts, statistical data and justification of activities), with the lookup tables. Program has been developed as it PRECEDE. Intervention: There has been a survey pre and after the four sessions organized in the program: It includes both quantitative data and qualitative. Results: Expected positive results, significantly increasing the knowledge of students about harassment. Conclusions: Raised in this program interventions instill values of respect and tolerance in the cognitive schema of relationships of students, fundamental pillars to establish healthy relationships and maintain a healthy environment within the school. These interventions are based on emotional intelligence, and the cooperative work, and demonstrate effectiveness in the figures of the bully, victim and bystander.
