Una punta de tipo Palmela inédita procedente del Jou Santo en los Picos de Europa (Cangas de Onís, Asturias, España)

Abstract

We present the accidental find of a Palmela point in the western massif of the Picos de Europa, in the site called Jou Santo, at 2100 m of altitude. These objects are associated to the Bell Beaker phenomenon, they have an Iberian origin and have a clearly peninsular distribution. We highlight the singularity of this piece because Palmela points are very rare in the Cantabrian region, and four of them have been found in mountain areas.
