| Resumen : | Stroke is the leading cause of disability in adults. In Asturias is the leading cause of death in women and fourth in men. The Health District II is more aging than the set of Asturias -28.3% vs 22.4% people> 65 years in 2011 -. The aim of the study was to determine the incidence of first stroke in the Health Area II and the presence of cardiovascular risk factors prior to stroke |
