Resumen : Objetive: To evaluate the level of knowledge of nurses of the Hospital of Eastern Asturias (HOA) on CPR. Knowing the degree of training in CPR. Methods: Cross-sectional study. Anonymous and voluntary survey of nurses HOA evaluating aspects related to the sociodemographic characteristics, work experience, training and knowledge in CPR, knowledge of the warning system - response in case of cardiac arrest and interest in receiving training. Results: Participation rate of 77.90%. 71% of professionals have been trained in CPR during their work experience, although only 20% less than two years ago. 76.9% have answered the knowledge of CPR units such as ER-being Uvi mobile, UCA Resuscitation and hospitalization where a higher level of knowledge is detected. . 61.5% showed correct knowledge of warning response system. When knowledge of nurses with work experience and cognition of the action plan are compared, a higher level of the same among staff have work experience 14-20 years and between 13 and 15 years respectively is.
