Trompeta piccolo: Evolución y repertorio

Abstract

It is a study of the evolution of the piccolo trumpet and its repertoire to discover if there is a link between the technical possibilities of the instrument and musical works. It takes into account the physics of the instrument (measuring ease of response of an instrument, the behavior of different nozzles ... without involving the human factor), and instrumentalist conditions (technical problems, psychological problems ....) and moreover repertoire conditions characteristic of each era. Throughout history it has advanced tremendously in the design and construction of the piccolo trumpet, this impact when creating and performing new works in the literature for piccolo trumpet. This research aims to get to know this instrument and to disclose all the different possibilities offered both technical and interpretive himself as the difficulties to be faced the interpreter, and his extensive repertoire.
